Taking a group paragliding is simpler than it looks — as long as the day is planned around sequential flights and the weather is treated as a variable rather than a detail. Here is how it works at the Parque da Cidade ramp, in Niterói.

How a group flight works

  1. Arrival at Parque da Cidade and welcome by the team.
  2. A short group briefing: how the launch works, the run on the ramp and the landing.
  3. Individual equipment — harness and helmet — and then flying, one passenger at a time.
  4. A 10 to 20 minute flight over Niterói, landing on São Francisco beach.
  5. The group meets again at the landing point, or returns to the lookout, as agreed.

How much time to allow

  • Each flight lasts 10 to 20 minutes, depending on wind and thermals.
  • With briefing, equipment, flight and landing, the full experience per person takes one to two hours.
  • In a group the flights are sequential, so the total window is longer than for a single passenger. Send us the number of people and we will estimate the schedule for your itinerary.

Logistics: arrival, van, meeting point and landing

Two formats work well:

  • The group goes down together: those who have flown wait for the others at the landing, on the São Francisco seafront, and the transport collects everyone there. Good when the itinerary continues along the coast.
  • The group stays at the lookout: passengers who have landed come back up to Parque da Cidade and the group leaves together from the top. Good when the bus stays parked at the ramp.

Access is by paved road to the launch area, with space for drop-off and pick-up. The route in detail is in how to get to Parque da Cidade.

Weather and scheduling

  • Free rescheduling: if the weather prevents flying, the group does not lose the payment. We rebook for another date or time.
  • Keep an alternative day in the programme whenever possible — the following day, for instance.
  • Have a plan B ready: the Niterói seafront, the MAC, the Caminho Niemeyer or the lookout itself work well as substitutes on the same day.

Safety and credibility to sell the activity

  • CBVL-certified instructor with more than 19 years of tandem experience.
  • Certified, inspected equipment, including a reserve parachute.
  • 5.0 rating on Google, from 73 reviews.
  • GetYourGuide partner, an international platform that audits experience operators — useful when selling to international visitors.
  • Flights only in safe conditions, with free rescheduling.

Photos and video for the group

Every passenger receives the photos and video of their own flight, included in the price. For agencies, that usually means content shared by the group the same day — and material you can ask permission to use in your own channels.

What to send us when booking

  • How many people will fly (and how many will come without flying).
  • The intended date and, if possible, an alternative date.
  • What time the group can be at the ramp, or the rest of the day's itinerary.
  • Whether the group is made up of international visitors, so we can prepare the briefing.
  • Whether you need guidance on transport to Parque da Cidade.

With those details we come back with the plan, the schedule and the conditions for the group.
